Global Connections in Mission

Extending God’s kingdom through cross-cultural mission.

A vital link in the mission chain.

Our mission is to promote effective cross-cultural mission in partnership with Christian Brethren Churches in New Zealand and around the world.

For more than 100 years, we have assisted mission partners and home churches to extend God’s kingdom by providing mission agency services, mostly through volunteer resources.

Our strategy today is to actively create greater awareness of Mission among the churches we represent.

Global Connections in Mission

• Serves 240 mission partners and families worldwide
• Annually handles around NZ $2m of mission funding
• Services an increasing number of indigenous partnerships and projects
• Regularly visits mission partners
• Communicates vital prayer needs
• Publishes the annual Missionary Prayer Handbook and Nexus magazines
• Edits mission reports for The Treasury
• Issues Missionary Prayer Link each week
• Assists churches to formulate effective mission strategies
• Offers short term missions programmes
• Conducts strategic leader seminars and Liaises with other mission agencies and international sister organisations.
