2006 Interns

Sara Honore Sara has been involved in youth leadership for 11 years and did a youth internship in 2003 with Greenlane Christian Centre.  Sara loves working with youth, walking beside them and being part of their lives as they discover that a life with GOD works.  Sara is a trained nurse and has worked the last 4 years in New Zealand, Africa, and London.  She is returning to New Zealand in January 2006 after being away for 18 months.  She has recently studied tropical medicine and has a passion for global mission.  Sara grew up in Zambia as a missionary kid until she was 11 years old.

Vanessa Curtis Since seeing some young adults 'go through church and walk away' Vanessa has become even more passionate about being a role model and support to teenagers.  She is joining the HEADSPACE team as an Intern in January 2006 and is excited about coming alongside the GAPPERS and helping to build them up in Christ. At Roslyn Bible Chapel Vanessa has been involved as a leader in Youth Group and Girls' Rally, and has contributed in the music ministry.  Vanessa has also experienced a GAP year for herself.  She spent time in England as an Au Pair caring for three children, worked as a Teaching Assistant for girls with learning difficulties, and travelled throughout Europe.  Vanessa loves using her skills and gifts to serve God.
