Our Stories Weekly Prayer Requests - 06/11/2008
Howard and Monika Harper, Mongolia, have written saying that Howard will be coming down to NZ for a short visit on 25th of November until December 4th. This will be the close of a special year for us, and we want to share with you all that the Lord has done. Please pray for a positive outcome from this visit. Fred Swallow, 09 620 7700 is our contact for this visit.
Laurie and Elaine Williams, PNG, asks that people pray for Laurie as he recovers from an operation. All the reports indicate that Laurie is progressing well.
Murray and Ruth Salisbury, UK, ask for prayer for Murray for the month of November as he teaches Hebrew exegesis at a university in Korea. Pray for energy, enthusiasm and wisdom for preparing and presenting all day and every day. Pray also for Ruth and Ben as they prepare to come to New Zealand.
Pray for HEADSPACE ( the GCiM mission orientated programme for school leavers) as it concludes this weekend, in Cambridge, for 2008. Praise God for these young lives that have been impacted in amazing ways. Pray for these 15 young lives as they more on to further study or work. Aaron and Suzy Boddy, Zambia, ask that we continue to pray for the outcome from the Zambian presidential elections. The losing candidate, Sata, is protesting the results, through the courts. Pray that Zambia will be a God honouring nation. Pray for their family (Toby, Max and Brayden) who have been taking end of year exams.
We have received news from Papua New Guinea that a truckload of people, including Ossie Fountain writes, “Satan was certainly at work in the aftermath of a successful conference.” Please pray for those involved and that the work among the Christian Brethren Churches in PNG will continue to prosper.
