One is to inform you about what GC3 is up to in regards to supporting mission effectiveness from our churches. Our aim is to be involved in a conversation with you and you leadership that would lead to more effective mission. Our vision is 'effective mission from every church' in our movement. Currently I am planning visits to churches in the South Island in April and May. I was asked what we might discuss at such meetings so I put together some ideas that are outlined below.

There are a number of reasons for a visit:

1. To listen to what your church is doing so that I/we are informed about what God is doing from your community.

2. To help people understand what GCiM/ GC3 does and to answer any questions about that (Money matters, Headspace, Commendation, Links with other agencies etc)

3. To talk over any issues with mission partners that you support.

4. To help with the function of your missions team/ leadership team by offering a missions toolbox resource and other advice as and when necessary.

5. To introduce you to a missions resource that helps you work out as a church where your strengths and weaknesses are in your missions efforts- it gives some helpful pointers forward.

6. To enter into an ongoing conversation with you over your missions effectiveness as a church

7. To be available to any individuals that want to look at further opportunities that are available for their involvement in mission.

Over the next few weeks I will unpack these reasons. Please feel free to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. about a visit so we can begin a conversation to support your mission effectiveness as a church.

From time to time Sefton Marshall (Our Operations Director) will write about office matters. We look forward to interacting with you in this way.
