2008 Interns

Eddie Best

I was born in Hamilton in 1982. I grew up in a Christian home along with three siblings - all girls. I shifted north to Whangarei in 2003 and attended Clark Road Chapel, quickly getting involved with both the Youth Group as well as the kids club. While there I took on a lawnmowing business with my Uncle. Two years later I crossed the ditch and worked in retail as well as being involved with Hillsong Church in Sydney, which was an awesome experience. I returned in May 2006 and worked in car sales for 12 months. This year I have spent building and laying foundations for houses while continuing my involvement with youth ministry at Clark Road.
I particularly enjoy the outdoors - anything invovling a gun, fishing rod or motorised equipment. I also regulary run a touch rugby outreach on Monday nights during daylight savings.
