Ron and Eunice, Italy, write; We would appreciate prayer for the surgery Ron will be having on his back, in programme for Tuesday 16th February, at Turin. Over the weekend we will be at Asti where Ron will be teaching at the Italian Bible Institute's Extension Centre. During Ron's recovery we will be staying with our son Jonathan and his wife's place near Turin.

 

 

Roger and Julie, Asia, write; Our key partner Bishu in Dhaka, Bangladesh is a brilliant Bible teacher with physical handicaps. He is in critical condition (ICU) with pneumonia. His wife asks for your fervent prayers.

 

 

Delwyn, Zambia, would like prayer regarding a whole Secondary School Assembly she is responsible for taking on Wednesday, 17 February. Her topic is ‘Teenage Love’ including sex, unwanted pregnancy, abortion, and other related issues. Please pray for wisdom and discernment for her as she presents the assembly. Please also pray that the Forms 1-6 students will grasp the seriousness of the message, and if they have already made unwise choices in this regard, that they will come to knows God’s forgiveness.

 

 

 We would like to give praise to God for filling the female intern position in Headspace. Hannah came on board yesterday and we know that she will be a great asset to the team.

 

 

Howard and Averil, Hong Kong, write; Please pray for MMM Hong Kong, we have a possibility of enlarging our existing premises. Before committing time and money to this we need to know this is still the area of Hong Kong and the premises we should be in. Pray also for wisdom for our board members who are facing other decisions with regard to the ministry.

 

 

Chris and Sheri, Papua New Guinea, write; The Franklyn kids have started a new year at the Wewak International School. Please pray that they will fit into the new classes well and make new friends. Elizabeth is feeling that she is getting picked on by a couple of students, so we pray that will be sorted out soon. 

 

Chris will be doing a little more travelling in a few weeks to open a new shop in Alotau, Milne Bay. Please pray for safety and for Sheri who will be looking after the children and home while he is away.

 

 

Neil and Philomena, Thailand, ask for prayer for a M man who is wavering in his faith. Neil plans to spend some time with him. Please pray that he will remain firm.
