Lynette, Kenya, would like to give praise for the recent medical camp in Kibera for the 850 patients who were seen in the two days. The local provisional medical officer who came with a team to help and that the staff have now been invited to participate in regional inservice education days. Also in this time two people came to faith in Jesus. What a wonderful two days!
Neil and Philomena, Thailand, write; Neil met with K last night. The hold of the evil one is strong, pray for K to increase in his understanding and acceptance of God's word. His father is in Pattayai at the moment, in our eyes not the best place to encourage spiritual growth.
Richard and Nancye, USA, ask for prayer for the Gutierrez family who attends their Latino church in Westminster. Their son who was suffering from heart failure passed away early Monday morning. This was a huge shock to the family even though they had been warned of his decline. We are enjoying a great trip to Colombia with good meeting in Bogota. We have another five days of meetings in Bogota before visiting some other areas in Colombia. Please continue to pray that we will be a mutual blessing.
You will have heard the news of the recent expulsion from a restricted access country of Chris and Tina and their two boys. This has been a traumatic time for them and the others who they have worked with them and have also been expelled. They leave behind many vulnerable children who depended on them for their care and education. Please continue to pray for Chris and Tina, the children who they have been left behind as well as the authorities in the country that they will care for the children.
Stephen and Monique, (HCJB) USA, request prayer for the shortwave radio station being constructed and installed in Timbi, Guinea, March 5th-28th. The two HCJB Global Technology Centre engineers who are currently involved in the installation arrived to find the spiritual warfare almost palpable. Many unexplained deaths and injuries have occurred with those involved in the project. Such a sequence of events might best be attributed to the spiritual warfare they feel is waging around them.
Murray and Ruth, United Kingdom, are currently in the Middle East running retreats for local Christian workers. Please continue to pray for the 3-4 hours with each participant individually to pray into some of the issues they face.
