Howard and Monica, Mongolia, write; We helped start the NOOR eye work in Afghanistan in 1966. It has continued faithfully in the years since. A couple of weeks ago they went on an eye camp in Badakhshan NE Afghanistan amongst the high mountains. Returning after the eye camp, their jeeps were caught by the Taliban,
Peter and Mathilde, Asia, write; Pray that Peter will receive his missionary visa this week so that he can fly back to Mumbai on Saturday. He was denied entry last week because he was on a tourist visa.
Graham and Betty, Guatemala, request prayer for a special 30th anniversary service this Saturday evening where a good number of folks will be visiting and will hear "the message" via Noel McKernon.
Sandy, DR Congo, writes; Praise the Lord for a great time at conference with 350 women. Many made new commitments and one lady admitted to killing a child through the power of witchcraft only days before the conference. The theme of conference was putting on the whole armour of God. Many voiced their appreciation for the great time of teaching.
Rebecca, Zambia, writes; Next week I'm back to work to pick up the pieces after being away (no qualified staff available to cover for me while I was out this time!), and I'll also be on call for the week. All after a week of girls camp, I would appreciate prayer for strength rest and stamina! And also for the girls from camp as they go back to their villages, hopefully motivated to live for God.
