Lee and Bruce, Kenya, write; Bruce’s tests seemed to show pneumonia at first, but this has now been pretty much ruled out by a specialist. So the cause is unknown again, but may be allergy-related. Your prayers are welcome for answers and patience in the meantime.

We are thankful for God’s direction re future ministry, and trust He’ll make the details clear at the right time.

 


 

May, PNG, writes; New school year commencing at Ukarumpa. Pray for the children returning from home assignment, and for the new students to all feel welcome.

 

Give thanks for commencement of peace talks between neighbouring villages and the tentative rebuilding commencing following August 2009 and April 2010 house burnings in the village across the river.

 


 

Irene, France, writes; please pray for the asylum appeal preparation and hearing of a Christian Armenian family we are working with, who were recently given a month to leave France.

 

Pray also for new contacts and deepening relationships during the summer excursions organised by the Kairos team.

 


 

Chris and Sheri, PNG, ask for prayer as they make all the plans for the trip to New Zealand over Christmas. There are still a number of details to sort out and time is quickly passing by.

 


 

Howard and Monica, Mongolia, write; We ask for prayer for our brother Lal Mohammed and his family. He is a watchman on a property Vision has been developing for the village of Qilay Badr Khan. His family are the oldest Christian family in Afghanistan, from a Pathan background, he is registered blind, but his family all have good eyesight! A number of his relations have been murdered for their faith in Christ. Pray for him, and his baby son who has a high temperature, also for the project on this land.

 


 

Jude, Kenya, writes:  Praise God for answered prayer during her recent trip to Kampala – security was tight around the city after the recent bombings.  We had a wonderful time with the slum pastors during our visit and amongst other meetings, shared in a seminar and graduation for pastors and church leaders involved in holistic transformation in the context of their local slum churches. 

 

Please pray for the referendum that will be held in Kenya on the 4th of August, that this will take place in a just way without violence or loss of life.

 


 

John and Rachel, Zambia, write; The internet caf? is now working. Please pray that this facility will have a positive impact on the surrounding community

 

The local chief continues to be unpredictable and to cause difficulties from time to time. He took a significant amount of food (for HIV patients) from the hospital last week, and we will need to request that this is returned. Please pray that this process will go well.
