Mark Kuraya

Finance Manager, CBC National Office

Mark Kuraya’s role is strategically important for CBC National Office and its supporting network of churches and ministries. As Financial Manager his skills in accounting for funds coming from different sources, donors, PNG government or aid agencies, are vital in providing transparency and proper reporting to stakeholders. Mark’s role is a low profile one but essential to the partnerships CBC needs to build confidence and trust.

Mark is a young man of strong character and wide experience in many of the skills that seem to be in short supply in PNG. He needs your prayers and encouragement. He is married to Juliana from Bougainville. They have two small daughters. He joined the CBC National Office team in 2008.

Mark’s work involves working with other accounts staff in the office. This allows him to travel to different centers to do audits of health, project and other funds used regionally. It is a demanding job and Mark would like to upgrade his qualifications as well.

In the longer term, we expect all Mark’s support to be met from within the country. But in the interim, support from overseas is needed to supplement his income.

Would you like to invest in the ministry of this young man with vision and potential? This is an opportunity for you or your church to partner a key national leader. The total annual of support required for Mark and his ministry is NZ$21,500 or $1800 monthly. This could represent 18 Team Support shares of $100 per month. (Office costs are raised within PNG)
